Task Description : Today we are learning to find the best strategy to solve multiplication and division problems. Keep in mind this was a short but diffuct task to complete because thoughout each question there was a timer set for that one question to see how fast we can finish the questions. 

Manakalani Short Summary Recount !

Take Back to Week 5 on a Wednesday the whole Pt England went to Hoyts in Sylvia Park! Keep in mind the school when in different times to Hoyts. The year 6 , 7 & 8 when in the morning and the rest of the school went later near lunchtime. We were in the van the other van over took us and we all laughing even when Mr J was playing the song and moving closer while going up and down and it was funny as hell !I was one of the presenters for Room 5's Movie "Give" I wasn't that nervous but I learnt to have confidence on stage while talking to everyone! After my favourtive movie had to be "Sharpen Up" because it was super funny and my favourtive part had to be when Jazzelle threw the Vase to Paschal and it broke !!! Overall it was a cool experience and I can't wait for next years Manakalani Film Festival 2020!

Mystical Adventure Part 1 

It was a typical walk while the beautiful sun was setting through the Island of Macoryin located in Russia . Josh and Joseph wanted to explore and have an adventure throughout Russia . As Lina , Josh , Melissa and Joseph were having a good time , Josh caught a gleam of an eye catching his attention as he yelled out “ Guys come look what I found! “ As they all came running back to Joseph , Lina  was shocked and wondered to herself how come its so dark ? Melissa & Josh was keen to go in but they didn’t know about the others whether they wanted to or not , so Melissa asked the whole group “ Do you’s want to go in because me and Josh wanna 

“ With in fear Lina said  I don't know guys “

“ Joseph said yup Im keen “ 

With the whole group all keen to go inside they all awaited for Lina but then Joseph said “ Its Alright Lina you’ll be fine just stick with me “

Lina Replied “ Okay thx ”

As they all took a couple of steps into the dark tunnel they couldn’t see anything since it was really pitch dark black ahead of them . But until Lina tumbled Joseph caught her they both looked each other in the eye but then Josh and melissa said “ Oshhhh Come on you two its not a love story “ giggling a bit 

“Coming” said Lina ( blushing ) and Joseph 

They all thought they were getting nowhere until Josh spotted a light ahead of him and said “ Look there’s a hint of light “ 

They all ran towards it but then they all said with supsioucnest “ What’s that ? “

They all looked at each other awkwardly like they never looked at each other before , They took step by step moving slowly towards the weird looking ship with a part of land leaving a big hole for several eyes to see . They all wonder what should they do so so they all jump and they all barley made it into the ship and once they opened the door and took a couple of steps the door closed on its own!

How could that have happened ?

Task Description : This week our task was based on another narrative meaning we are trying to get better and better at writing narratives and picking different kinds of topics and making our stories more interesting . Task Description : This week this task was based on planning before we write our narrative meaning to sort out our characters , setting and whats our problem and resolution. This was an short task we had to plan out to before writing . An Miracle - Pre Test Narrative Writing - Choose It Writing

 An Miracle 

As Caldoria the ballerina was dancing gracefully on stage with her beautiful lyrical solo.

But as the producer awaiting on the side of the stage wanting to get her attention because something was urgent and she needed to go ASAP. Seconds later he finally got her attention she was dancing beautifully until something caught her eye so she had to rush off stage and she suddenly tripped over a prop that another dancer was using for her solo the judges asked if she was okay and Caldroia said “yes”. 

After she got to the producer told her the hospital rang and said you need to go because your dad is having a huge heart problem !!! As she ran with tears running down her face she was heartbroken she wonder if something worster was going to happen . After 25 minutes she got to the hospital the doctor located her to her grandpa’s room which was level 3 room 24 . Her grandpa wasn’t there untill the nurse said he is in the x ray room then after that he will go in the operations room for surgery Caldoria was SHOCKED she didn’t know that it was going to be like this . 

10 minutes later grandpa came back to his room and saw Caldoria sitting on the chair and Caldoria said “ Grandpa I’m sorry for all I’ve done and all I want now is for you to still live and too create more memoirs I love you Grandpa <3 “ Grandpa said “ I love you Caldoria <3 “ But then the nurse said I have good news for you “ Your grandpa is good to go and he doesn’t need to go for surgery but now but you just need to keep an eye out just in case this happens again!” Caldoria said “ Thank you Thank you for your hospitality looking after my grandpa “ The Nurse repiled “ No worries “ As Caldoria walked happily with her grandpa out the Auckland hospital and drove back to competion to see who made it to the grand finals .

As they got there Caldoria just made it and the Judges said the two grand finalist is….. Caldoria and Bella ! Caldoria was over the moon and said “ This day couldn’t was an miracle and a roller coaster ride for sure !!! “ then Caldoria said a Thank you speach and drove back home with her Grandpa and started choreographing another temporaly solo .

Complex Sentences

Task Description : This week Room 1 is focusing and getting better on how to write complex sentences. This week was due last week but since I didn't come on that day today was the last day to finish it off and I had to stay focus and finish it today which I did !!!

🇹🇴🇹🇴🇹🇴🇹🇴TONGA MADE HISTORY🇹🇴🇹🇴🇹🇴🇹🇴

On the 2nd of November it was the day of the big game held @ Eden park Tonga vs Australia !!! As me and my family watched the game it was a stunning hard game to play !! After half time, it was a pretty close game but then the last half was phenomenal because there was so many comebacks

from Tonga ! After the whole game finished TONGA WON AGAINST AUSTRAILA 16 - 12 !!! It was honestly unbelievable Tonga beat the best team in the world and made HISTORY. After the game everyone stared partying and paradeing @ otahuhu and @ the city/town of Auckland. Me and my family went to go and parade @ otahuhu and then once the police blocked off every way in otahuhu the parade went to the city/town of auckland and there we stayed for hours to celebrate the win for the Tongan boys victory. The next day was Sunday ( church day ) in the nighttime there was a parade in city/town again to show more love for the boys victory against Australia so then we stayed there for a couple of hours until late but then we had to go home because it was a school night so we had to get some sleep for school the next day!

Last week on friday the 1st of november was the official day the whole team 5 went to the Auckland War Memorial Museum . Travelling in the bus full with Team 5 there was a lot of people in the back of the bus singing and it was pretty cool . We finally reached the Museum and we were the last bus to get there even though we went first ! We all had to sit down and go in our groups with our KPMG Helper and EXPLORE the Museum.

My highlight of the trip to the Museum had to be where Me , Maree , Tatiana and Jozolo and Sefa ( Maree , Jozolo & Tatiana’s Helper from KPMG ) were supposed to go to the Memorial Garden near the Auckland Museum but instead we all asked to sit in the middle of the field and chill out and have a bit of sleep and eat more and sefa said yup . So we all sat down in a circle and Tatiana played some music and we all jamming and singing  well some of us were laughing and eating and other stuff to be honest it was pretty lit the funny part was when the other groups walked passed us to go in the Memorial Garden look at us and it was crack up .  

Genomics - DNA

Task Description : This afternoon in home class room 5 was doing Genomics , We had to learn about DNA and what it is and does . My Partners were Maree and Efe-lata we had to create something to present to the class . As we were all done we all got into partners and sat in a circle facing towards our buddy's. As the circle kept coming and new partners arrived we all got to learn something from them !
