Word Problems

W.A.L.T : justify our answers by showing our working out.
Task Description: This task was put in place mainly based on the lock down experiences towards Mc Donald's reopening up during level 2. We had to answer the question and give our answer explaining how we got the answer bit by bit.  Please keep in mind this was last weeks work which would be weeks 5. I forgot to post it last week but i was busy but I am posting today! 

Time Capules

WALT:  draw on multiple sources of information to comprehend an event.
Task Description:
This task was all based and took place on a true story that happened 2000 years ago. This was mainly focused on Volcanoes around the world and facts and the history of the historical moments that were written down for kids like us and others to find out about.  Please keep in mind today was a F.I.O.P at home day just like if I was to be at home. This was last weeks work finished the first part.

The Great Barrier Reef

Task Description :
This weeks task for week 6 term 2 was mainly based on a journal all about Reefs and corals and how they are and what they do among the sea. This task was also based on our thoughts our the Green House emissions towards our earth contained about the air going though the earth!

Water Cycle


I have learnt many things during this task I hardly knew about! One thing I learnt about the most is everything it teached me new words and new things of how the water cycle runs to keep earth alive. I've learnt upon how mostly.

Task Description: 
This weeks task for Week 6 for literacy was based on a journal based upon our beloved earth and its water cycle! We had to design our own water cycle of what we think it will go like similar to what was shown and given towards the information to provide us a better understanding of it.

Pompeii CT

W.A.L.T - draw on multiple sources of information to comprehend an event.
> Take note before reading: Going back into the late 16th century when it was discovered <
As uncovering the historical moment of the story about the time capsule though the Pompeii & Herculaneum in Italy. I was shocked to find out about this story! 
Anyways back to the point I'm a historian that goes back in history and to go find out more about the things that happened in the past during now i'm in the present.
I founded the place where the Pompeii & Herculaneum happened! Just seeing what happened during the past made me feel sad, thinking about all the people who lost their lives and the beautiful village that use to be there. 
I couldn't really walk around as because it was covered up to 4 to 6 m (13 to 20 ft) of volcanic ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. It was unbelievable! Just the whole village that was so beautiful now buried in volcanic ashes it was so sad to look at!
Task Description: For this task this week we had to go choose 1 out of the 4 choices for our Create Task. I had choosen the going back in time story line short written. In this task I had to go back in time and explain what happened and the emotions I had felt while going to rediscover the event of the historical placing of the moment.

Punctuation Practice Final CC3

Walt: use capital letters appropriately
Walt: use commas when adding additional information to a sentence
Task Description: This task was all based on the other two I did which was the "Capital Letters" and 
 "Commas" this task carries on the same thing. This was the third and final task to complete the Punctuation Practice. This was just based on fixing the original short written story to fix all the capital letters and commas to make the short written story make sense.
Please take take this task was due last week from week 4.


Geometry Mats

Task Description: Please take note this work was from week 3 but I was busy so I'm posting it this week week 5 today! This task was mainly based on Geometry Mats throughout also who to create and use the axis to show the top view of the numbers given!

Task Description : This week the task for reading that was given was based on a journal story named " Oakley Creek " it is mainly based on a girl faith, and her life and thoughts. This was including for us students to re read the story and find the answers to the questions as well as the write the definition to the words given!

Him and his friend Leo was driving home after the shift at work and told Leo what happened. He was shocked and couldn't believe tom dumping all the women he had! Tom had 7 kids with three different women. Leo always tried to help out tom with his life.

Punctuation Practise C

Walt: use commas when adding additional information to a sentence.
Task Description : This task was based on Punctuation which was based all on Commas. This is 2 out of 3 writing tasks completed for this week. I had to relook and carefully see where I could put the Commas into place in the short story written.

Punctuation Practise CL

Walt: Use capital letters appropriately
Task Description : This task was based on Punctuation based on Capital Letters. This weeks task for Writing 1 of 3 was to go though the letter given as our task. Our task was to fix all the missing capital letters in the letter that was needed to make the letter make sense.

Dawn Service

W.A.L.T - Take note of the different language features and the picture they are trying to paint with words.

Task Description :  This task was also based on a Poem book short written called " Dawn Service " which was based on a girl and her story about her Grandparents and what  her parents told her and didn't tell her about her grandparents. This task was the same as the story which I had to think about what my parents told me about my Grandparents or Great Grand Parents and list it down. Please keep in mind this work is from weeks 3 which was last week.

Chunuk Bair Quilt.

W.A.L.T - Take note of the different language features and the picture they are trying to paint with words.
Task Description : This task was based on the book "  Chunuk Bair " the book was based on a back then about a War History but short written text form. This task I was given a template which had a hexagon. While reading the text given digital book online I had to put pictures into the hexagon given. That way our teacher can create a Quilt out of it. Please keep in mind this was Weeks 3 works from last week I am finishing off.

Mascots

W.A.L.T - Take note of the different language features and the picture they are trying to paint with words. 
Task Description : This task was based on a book poem called " Mascots ". For the task I had to tell the meanings of the questions given towards for me to answer therefore going back in the book to relook at the given questions and answer to them. Please keep in mind this is Weeks 3 work!

Why is the Poppy Worn? ( Choose it Writing )

W.A.L.T - Write about the meaning about poppy's         
 Why is the poppy flower worn on Anzac Day?                                                 The Poppy is a traditional of remembrance that grew on the battlefield after the world wars were finish. The main reason why it is worn on Anzac Day is to always remember those who fought in the war to protect the country's they come from against the other country. We wear them to remember them who sacrifice there lives for us and gave there lives to save many other lives around the world. This poppy also was given a quote " Lest We Forget" meaning we should remember what happened and what they did for us!

Task Description : For this task I had to create a picture of a Poppy using digital websites to draw. This task was all based on Anzac the Poppy Flower. I had to write why the poppy was worn on Anzac day. Please keep in mind this work is from Week 3 last week.


A Letter to New Zealand ( Choose It Writing )

W.A.L.T - invoke philosophical thoughts from the reader.
Task Description : This task was based on New Zealand. I had to write a letter to New Zealand about the corona virus and what I would say to the whole of our country and that's what I wrote. This is one of the Writing activity we got to choose to write about. Please keep in mind this work was lasts weeks which was week 3.
