Final Post for 2017 ( From School )

This is the Last day we get to have our Chromebook for 2017 . I have an Awesome year this year . I was in Mr Goodwin's Litcery Class & Home Class & I was in Miss Scanlan's Maths Class .

My Highlight of the year was pretty much everything because i enjoyed my time in 6  , 7 , 8 i couldn't ask for a better year this year . Also i enjoyed Camp with the Year 6's this year held at our School Grounds and Enjoyed all the Events  .

I can not wait for 2018 to see who's gonna be my Teacher  and see which Class I am in !!!! . Also to see who will be in my class .

Getting a Caught Being Good Certificate &  Duffy Book !!

Today I had got Caught Being Good Certificate &  Duffy Book !! at our School Assembly . First of all I was not even thinking That I would get an Certificate but I did . I was sitting next to my Friend - Losehina - I will link her Amazing blog down below anyways I was sitting next to Losehina util I heard Mr Burt - Our Principle called out my name and Losehina Sitting next to me was like " That's you " and I am Like " Ohhhh? " So I went to get my Caught Being Good Certificate from 1 of the prefects and standed up on the stage . If you are wondering what are PREFECT'S ?????....... At my School we have Year 8 Prefects that make the Theme For Assembly for the Week  .  Once our School Assembly had finished all the Girls and Boys who had got a  Caught Being Good Certificate had to come to the Library . I picked my Book and it was called EARTHQUAKE ! . I think its based on a Ture Story and I can't wait to read my new book I got today !!! . I would Like to thank you to Mrs Scanlan - My Amazing Maths Teacher for Giving me a Caught Being Good Certificate  .... My Certificate said `For Making HUGE PROGRESS IN MATHS THIS YEAR KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK .

Thank you our Athletics Day 2017 !!!!!!!

Walt: using descriptive language . 

Intro :

Dear Helper’s and Staff and Volunteers . I would like to say a BIG THANK - YOU to you for making this happen and for this Fun Sporty Opportunity for Athletics day at Pt England School .

Paragraph 1 :

Athletics day was held at Pt England School . It was full of different kinds of Sporty and Fun  events for the whole school to participate all in .  there was events like  sprinting ,   high jump   ,  Discus ,    relay ,   volleyball ,  javelin and much more events .   it was really great to have athletics on a sunny bright day .

Paragraph 2 :

To be honest my favourite part was participating and having fun with my friends doing all different kinds of athletic events .   Also I was really proud of  the green team and they are 5 girls because  when it came to a teamwork thing we had work or together and they had won some events on athletics . But mostly I enjoyed it and had a great day doing athletics .

Paragraph 3 :

Next Year I would like to help set up Athletics Next Year with my Amazing Friends . Also I will be training at home to get better and better and do my best on the Events . I am pretty sure that Next year for athletics is going to be hard I guess ???? .

Conclusion :

To Be honest I had enjoyed my day when Pt England School did Athletics .  I enjoyed Athletics because I had a Good time with my Friends and Teachers doing Athletics and getting this sporty opportunity and I have learned a lot of things  . Once again I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Helper’s and Staff and Volunteers  .

Task Description :

Room 7 Litcery had done some Writing this task was for everyone who had came to the Manaiakalani Film Festival and Athletics Day . Thank you to all the Helper's than came along on Both Events . I had Deiced to do both but Manaiakalani Film Festival First because it happened first then last but not least I had Saved the Athletics Thank you Writing for Last . Intro :

Dear Mrs Burt & Manaiakalani Producers and Organizers and  Team . First of all I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU TO YOU GUYS for making this happen and for this cool opportunity for Pt England School .

Body 1 :

Going to the Manaiakalani Film Festival was AWESOME! It was held at Sylvia Park at Hoyts and We went in the Afternoon . There are 12 schools that are in the Manaiakalani School’s . We got to Watch some of St Patrick’s School Movies that they have made and some of Pt England School Movie .  

My Favorite Part :

My Favourtive part was that we got a cool  opportunity  to go to Hoyts at  Sylvia Park . Also  My Favourite part was getting to see what Movies that Pt England school had made and pretty much my Favourite was Fast and Furious 8 Made by the Year 7 and year 8 Extension Group .

Next Year :

Next Year I have an Plan on what to do for the Movie . I was thinking maybe  of Fast and Furious because i like to watch Fast and Furious  or a Satisfying Movie and thinking about it wants to like make a own scenes and parts of it  and maybe may want to be in the

movie next year .

Conclusion :

To Be Honest I Enjoyed going to Hoyts at  Sylvia Park and watching Manaiakalani Movies than PES had made and other school too also getting this  amazing opportunity too . I learn Lots of Things from watching Movies like Kindness and much more . Once Again I would Like to say a BIG THANK - YOU to Mrs Burt & Manaiakalani Producers and Organizers and

 Team for making this happen and for this opportunity .

Once a upon a Time  , A wonderful day has started  whats should i do today maybe let's go on a adventure………. Let's go and visit all the 8 planets of the solar system it should be soooooooo fun “ come on let's go “ .

Blasting Off :
Currently i am in my rocket let's start the countdown 10 , 9 , 8 , 7 , 6 , 5 , 4  , 3 , 2 , 1 , BLAST OFF .

Mercury :
The First Stop is Mercury did u know that Mercury is the closest planet to the sun and it’s the first planet in the hole of the solar system .  This Planet is not the right planet  moving on .

Venus :
Second stop Venus did u know that Venus is the 2nd Planet closest to the sun in our solar system . Also Venus is actually the Earth’s Twin and Venus is the hottest planet in our solar system . This Planet is not the right planet  moving on .

Earth :
Third stop is of crouse Earth . Earth is the 3rd planet closest to the sun . Plus  that is the only planet that has Life on it  which we are only going to pass Earth . . This Planet is not the right planet  moving on .

Mars :
Fourth stop Mars . Mars is the 4th Planet closest to the sun . Mars is a Planet that has lots of red dust . Plus   the red dust gets blown across the surface by ancient volcanoes . This Planet is not the right planet  moving on .

Jupiter :
Fifth Stop is Jupiter . Jupiter is the 5th planet closest to the sun . Jupiter is full of Gas and it has an invisible ring around it but u can’t see it .  Jupiter is the Largest planet in our solar system . This Planet is no is just not  the right planet  moving on .

Saturn :
Sixth stop is Saturn . Saturn is the 6th planet closest the the sun . Saturn has a Ring around it and u can see it . Pus Saturn is the second largest planet in our solar system and it is full of Gas too just like Jupiter . This Planet is not the right planet  moving on .

Uranus :
Seventh stop is Uranus . Uranus is the 7th planet closest to the sun . Also Uranus is the 2nd coldest planet in our solar system . Uranus is the Third largest planet in our solar system and Uranus was the first planet to be discover .  This Planet is not the right planet  moving on .
Neptune :
Eighth stop is Neptune . Neptune is the 8th planet closest to the sun .  also is the last planet in our solar system and is the farthest planet in our solar system . Neptune is the coldest planet in our solar system . This Planet is not the right planet  moving on .

Conclusion - Return to Earth :
I no all the  planets in our solar system  are just not the right one yet . But the best planet to live on is EARTH because Earth has Life on it it has everything and yes i am going back to earth back to my home .

Task Description :
For this task we had to create a Story Book for the year 1 's to read . This story is all about our Solar System teaching the year 1 's about it . This was soooo cool to do for the year 1's .

Task Description : Today Room 7 Litcery has done a google drawing and as u can see it says " My Very Educated Mum Just Severed Us Nachos and Cheese " Why u ask we did this to remember our Solar system easier by just saying " My Very Educated Mum Just Severed Us Nachos and Cheese " and the first letter in each word stands for that solar system planet :)

Task Description : Today Room 7 Litcery has all done this presentation all about Visting your Solar System so first we had to make a copy and start the first presentation and start to read the questions that Gorgaricon has asked us to fill in  that question that is on that slide s and say why u think that and why he or she shouldn't and i founded this sooo fun as our theme for this term is Guardians of the Galaxy and this was a Wonderful great idea all Thanks to the Handsome Mr Goodwin for planning this out for Room 7 Litcery ............

Solar System !!!!!

Task Desrciption : For this Task we had to do Today is we had to make a copy of the goggle drawing and we had to put the solar system in order and find a picture off Explore and name what is the plante and put it all in oder  as our theme for this Term is Guardians Of The Galaxy ( GOTG ) i got to say this is a awesome thing to do for lictery i Enjoyed doing this !!!! :) ...............
