Term 4 Cave Art Animation

Greetings to you all my name is Lillyana and this is my Cave Animation for Term  4 

Once a upon a time not long ago there was a jaguar just riding it’s own buskin but then a group of people started coming with spears and bow and arrows  the jaguar  had wondered why they had come to there lands . 

Seconds later the leader said Look there is 1 jaguar but little did he knew the jaguar had other jaguars too . So then the leader said I am gonna try to spear it  3,2,1 and there the spear flew and lucky it missed the jaguar because the jaguar had quick feet to move faster than the arrow coming towards him ……

The jaguar decided to get the rest of the jaguars to come and end this , so then the rest of them came and then the leader replied to the group to “ ATTACK “  so there went the spears up in the air flying towards some of the jaguars and it  was close but it missed the jaguars then the jaguar came then the bow and arrows got released and it missed also after that the jaguars  got all the people that came and ate them ………..

Pt England School Cross County Fun Run !!!

Walt: structure a recount.

On Friday the 1st of September last week everyone at Pt England School did our School  Cross Country Fun Run Race .  It was soaking wet & Muddy and Hot . How did u go on your Cross Country ??

Walking to the hot , Hard netball courts , we had to find our line which i was in Yr 5 Girls line and i was sitting next to my friends . I was feeling Nervous . Until my sister brang my mum’s umbrella to me and i putted it up and holded it under with my friends . Well sitting on the hard hot netball waiting & talking and Supporting the younger one ‘s . Until Mrs Nua called up the yr 5 Girls Up to the starting line .

Body 1 :
Already at the starting line Mr Burt Clapped the Clapper and I was Sprinting to towards the orange arrow pointing right so i follow were the arrow’s were pointing . Until I got out of the school gates there were chunks of big wet muddy Puddles everywhere and my feet was a mess with mud . Jogging with my friend we were getting tired so we walked and then jogged . Seconds later a got a medium stitch where my bone was i knew i had to finish the race so i tried my best and my mum was cheering me and my friend on and supporters too . Me and my friend was about to finish the cross the line and i had Finished the Fun Run Race .

Body 2 :
After the race me and my friends sat down at the front and we supporting and cheering on  the 6 , 7 , 8 finishing off their races .  Minutes later everyone had finished all thrie races and we got sended by classes if our teacher was there . On our way back walking to class . Mrs Scanlan gave us all intrusion yo to follow and we did it . Once we had finished cleaning up the classrooms we came back onto our homerooms  . Then Mr Somerville played a game and then our lovely teacher sended us all home .

Conclusion :
What did i learn i have learn that trying your best and not giving up and no matter what finish off the race like all champions even if you don’t make the top 3 at least u have finish off the Race . What i would differently next time i would run trying my best and not walk but jog .  That was the story of our school cross country school fun run race .

Day #4: Swimming with the Sharks

By the end of Day #3, you have seen a lot of the north island of New Zealand.  Hopefully you have enjoyed it and you’re excited for the next phase of your journey – the ferry trip across the Cook Strait from the bottom of the north island to the top of the south island. You will spend the next two days exploring the south island before you head back up to Auckland, via Wellington (the capital city of New Zealand).

Activity 1: When you arrive in the south island, Curious Kiwi rents a shuttle van and drives your group from Picton (the town where the ferry dropped you off) to a beautiful beach on the opposite side of the island. The beach area is called Golden Bay and, at one end of the bay, is a stunning area called Farewell Spit.

Farewell Spit has been in the news recently as a number of whales accidentally swam into the spit and became stuck on the beach. They were unable to swim back to the ocean because the water was too shallow. Many local people tried to save the ‘beached’ whales. Please follow this Farewell Spit link to learn more about what happened. On your blog, describe what the local people did to try and save the beached whales.

What they Did #1 - The Volunteers Garb what they can to keep the whales wet .

What they Did #2 - Supervising people , making sure every whale gets equal Treatment .

What they Did #3 - Freedom campers offer their towels, t-shirts and sarongs to drape over the whales.

What they did #4 - They grab their chilly bins, water bottles, cooking pots and mixing bowls to fill with water to keep the whales wet.

Activity 2: After a morning of learning about beached whales in Golden Bay, you and your group are driven to a nearby town, Nelson, to watch a special movie called ‘Whale rider.’ It is a famous movie about a young girl who was born and raised in New Zealand. Watch the following movie trailers for Whale Rider: Whale Rider trailer #1 and Whale Rider Trailer #2 and then write a summary of the movie on your blog. What is it about? Be sure to also give the movie a rating out of 5 based on the trailer [1 = bad movie, 2 = okay movie, 3 = pretty good, 4 = good movie, 5 = excellent movie].

My Summary :

Whale Rider is a Movie all about a Maori Girl who wants to become a Chief of the Tribe . Her Grandfather (Koro) Believes that it is only for males to be a Chief of the Tribe . How Ever When her Grandfather ( Koro) was Teaching the younger Males to become an Chief of the Tribe the Maori Girl Secretly follows what her Grandfather ( Koro ) was Teaching the Males . Bonus Activity: Hector’s dolphins are a very special native animal found only in New Zealand. They are the smallest dolphin in the world measuring 1.5 metres long and they are quite rare. Sadly, many Hector’s dolphins are killed every year when they get caught in large fishing nets and can’t escape. Some people have argued that fishermen shouldn’t be allowed to fish in Farewell Spit in order to protect the dolphins living there. What do you think? On your blog, tell us whether you think that fishing in Farewell Spit should be banned (stopped).

I Think Fishing for Hector's Dolphins are so Wrong because Hector's Dolphins are Special Native Animals that we should never Fish  that are Special Native Animals and plus Hector's Dolphins did nothing towards People .

Today, you will drive around the North island and be introduced to amazing animals that live here in New Zealand. Some are native and some are non-native. Native animals are animals that normally live in New Zealand. Non-native animals are animals that were brought into New Zealand from another country. Examples of native New Zealand animals are the kakapo, the kiwi, the kea parrot, the yellow eyed penguin and the pekapeka bat.

Activity 1: Curious Kiwi, a native New Zealand bird, is your tour guide for today. He is going to take you to visit the Otorohanga Kiwi House and Native Bird Park where many of his aunties and uncles currently live. The bird park is a five hour drive from Dargaville so you hit the road right after breakfast and arrive in Otorohanga at lunch time. As you walk through the birdhouse you learn about the work being done to conserve and protect the native birds of New Zealand. You decide to help out by ‘adopting’ a native animal. Activity 2: After your great visit to the Otorohanga bird house it is time to hop back onto the bus and head towards the Hawke’s Bay – your resting place for the evening. Hawke’s Bay is a beautiful region of New Zealand. It is known for its wineries and gorgeous scenery. When you arrive in Napier, the largest city in the region, you go for a walk through Waitangi Regional Park and notice that many of the leaves on the native trees have been damaged. Curious Kiwi tells you that they were damaged by possums, non-native predators, from Australia. People in New Zealand are working hard to trap and kill these predators. Their goal is to remove all of the possums (and other predators) by 2050. Go to the ‘Predator Free 2050 website’ to read more about their work.

On your blog, tell us whether you agree that New Zealand should be predator free. In your opinion, is it right to kill all of the predators (eg. possums) or should we just leave them alone? On your blog tell us what you think and give us, at least, three reasons why you think this way.

Reason Number 1 - I think you should 'nt kill Possums because Possums did nothing towards people.

Reason Number 2 - New Zealand should leave all Possums alone because there just Predators but do nothing but just take care of there own Family's

Reason Number 3 - Possums are Possum that try's to get food and shelter and care for them self and family 's.

A day with Delightful Chocolate Crumble.

Introduction:If I had got a Delightful Chocolate Crumble I would eat it for breakfast instead of Cereal and Milk  .

Describe the product:

The Brand  was Delightful Chocolate Crumble . The Price for the  Delightful Chocolate Crumble is $3.99 for a whole block. This comes in 2 flavors in one block of chocolate and that is White and Normal Chocolate.

Your impression of the product:

The Delightful Chocolate Crumbled . It looked like The top was White Chocolate and the bottom of the chocolate was Normal Chocolate . It smelt like 2 chocolates that is Combined chocolates that you can smell at the same time. It  much tasted like White Chocolate and Normal Chocolate but when I  took the second bit it kinda taste like Caramel the aftertaste .

Improvements:

I think to the way that the  Chocolate made is great because it its not too sweet but just the way how i like it so i like how the chocolate is made no changes need to be made .

Conclusion:

I would give this Chocolate 1 out of 10 a 8 out of a 10 because the flavor have really combined together nicely.
