~ Museum Summary Recount ~

Last week on friday the 1st of november was the official day the whole team 5 went to the Auckland War Memorial Museum . Travelling in the bus full with Team 5 there was a lot of people in the back of the bus singing and it was pretty cool . We finally reached the Museum and we were the last bus to get there even though we went first ! We all had to sit down and go in our groups with our KPMG Helper and EXPLORE the Museum.

My highlight of the trip to the Museum had to be where Me , Maree , Tatiana and Jozolo and Sefa ( Maree , Jozolo & Tatiana’s Helper from KPMG ) were supposed to go to the Memorial Garden near the Auckland Museum but instead we all asked to sit in the middle of the field and chill out and have a bit of sleep and eat more and sefa said yup . So we all sat down in a circle and Tatiana played some music and we all jamming and singing  well some of us were laughing and eating and other stuff to be honest it was pretty lit the funny part was when the other groups walked passed us to go in the Memorial Garden look at us and it was crack up .

Introduction :

Have you ever had a Duffy Assembly at your school before ?? We'll find out ………….
I am going to tell you what had happened at Pt England School on Wednesday the 7th
of February . .  .  . . . . . . . . Anyways in the Afternoon at Pt England
School Team 4 ( Year 4 , 5 , 6 ) and Team 5 (  Year 7 & 8 ) had to go to a Duffy
Assembly . There were three Actors their names were Melanie, Ashley, Duffy .

Body 1 :

What had happened was Room  6 , 7 , 8 went into there maths classes to line up in two
lines to go to the hall to watch the Duffy Assembly Next  was we had to find out where
Team 4 & 5 were going to sit .   Team 4 & 5 sat down which it had went Team 5 at
the Back and Team 4 at the front . Once Teams 4 & 5 had sat down  .
The Actors Melanie, Ashley, Duffy had set up a Duffy Show for Teams 4 & 5 .
Melanie, Ashley, Duffy said what the show was going to be about and it was
The Story about Bullying.

Body 2 :

So what happened was Melanie was a Girl who got bullied by the Mean Gir
l Ashley mostly everyday . Ashley took Melanie’s Lunch and Ate it and Melanie had
no lunch all because of Ashley also Ashley was using mean words towards Melanie
and Ashley Wouldn't let Melanie play with her and much more  . Then once Duffy
knew that Ashley was bullying Melanie Duffy stood up to Ashley .

Body 3 :

My Favourtive  part was when Duffy stood up for Melanie when Duffy knew that
Melanie was getting bullied by Ashley  so then Duffy Stood up to Ashley .
I think the main Message was to Not Bully Others and Help them .

Conclusion :

So what happened was Melanie was a Girl who got bullied by the Mean Girl Ashley

Task Description : For this task in Literacy we had to write a recount all about The
Duffy Assembly on the Wednesday the 7th of February . What is a Recount???
For an Example if something so special or an event or something that happened your
teacher would tell you to retell what had happened on that day so that
is what is a Recount .

The Race

WALT: LEARNING TO WRITE RECOUNT

Introduction

Have you ever written about having a race before in the morning? Well it pretty much goes like this Mr Goodwin told that we are going to do a pretty lame quick experiment. I am like “What that’s boring to do” .

Mr Goodwin told us to put away our Chromebook on a table.Next Mr Goodwin told us to put our shoes on and line up in two line’s outside the classroom. So then Mr Goodwin and us walked to the field and I am like “ what so thought for a second  said to myself this is the lamest experiment  I have ever done in my life before” “ even  my sister experiment are better than this one”.

Once we got to the field Mr Goodwin told us  the instructions. Mr Goodwin said this is what you are going to do run to the gold post and run back and sit down. Pretty much i was talking to daisy  but on the other side I still managed to hear the instructions . Finally he said Go!

First I laugh but I don’t know why  but I was running with Amelia and Daisy.Once we reached the end of the far end gold post i just wanted to get it done with and just go and do my work all ready. I have finally reached the end of the gold post where Mr Goodwin was.

At the end i finally did it what i think of the Lamest experiment i give it a 5 out of 10 because it was lame that is why. But over all we all know it was all just for fun anyways.
