DAY 4 : MORE THAN MEETS AN EYE
WEEK 1 / DAY 4 / ACTIVITY 2 & 3

Activity 2: Pancakes and Maple Syrup? [4 points]
Aotearoa New Zealand is home to many spectacular sights and natural wonders. One of these is the Punakaiki Rocks and Blowholes located on the West Coast of the South Island. The Punakaiki rocks attract tourists from all over the world who are keen to see these amazing rock formations. Many people think that they look like pancakes stacked on top of one another. Pancakes are one of my favourite foods! They are delicious and pretty easy to make.
For this activity you are asked to choose one of your favourite foods. On your blog, write the name of your favourite food and then tell us how to make it. You may need to ask a family member, friend or Google (!) for help, if you do not normally make this food for yourself.

Task Description : For this task I deiced to make my 2 favourtive snack things to eat whenever , I started off by doing the title page then doing the first recipe which is French Toast then I did the 2nd recipe which was Toast and avocado sandwich and then i picked out some images from explorer and image attribution it .

Activity 3: Salt and Pepper [5 + 5 possible bonus points]
Deep in the heart of Bolivia (a country in South America) lies a natural wonder unlike anything else. It is a massive area of salt, over 10 000 km2 large, that is referred to as the Uyuni Salt Flats.
Tourists who visit the flats often stay in hotels made completely out of salt (salt hotels). This is not the only unique hotel that you will find around the world. In fact, you can stay in hotels made entirely of ice (ice hotels) or glass (glass hotel). Let’s imagine that you were given enough money to build your very own hotel.
On your blog tell us where you would build your hotel and what you would use to build it. For an extra five points, use Google Drawings to design one room in your hotel. You can also use a paper and pencil to draw your room, take a picture of the drawing, and post it on your blog.
My Hotel name is Beach Hotel , I had named it Relaxing Beach Hotel because its near the beach the the beach is relaxing so is my hotel , is Bulided near a Quiet but beautiful Beach with Palm Trees and the water is Colored like a Light blue sea colour , Why is it located there it is because the customs love the beaches and it is a great view of the beautiful beach that everyone likes to relax but when you look far out your window there is a beautiful view to look at !!!! My Hotel had 250 Rooms ( Because it has big rooms ) Kids under 12 years old can go for free but over 12 for kids $25 and Adults $45 it really depends on how many there are and for per night for a family of 6 the price is $130 .
Anyways this is only one of my Hotel Bedrooms so first we are going to start on the right hand so you walk thought the white french doors and you see the bathroom so 1 toilet and 1 bath and 1 shower then you have your working desk you use for working and it comes with 1 Apple imac and 2 cozy chairs and then you see the beautiful looking caramel fountain then you see a secret room that secret room take you to gaming and fun games next you see the Long T.V facing towards the bed just in case you want to watch T.V in bed then you see the bed which there are 2 pillows and a bed header and a blanket then on the cornner on the left side you can put your storage which all your stuff then you see the Sweets and Snack Cupboard that you can snack on em when your hungry then you see the other French doors that leads you to a beautiful beach view .

Fakalofa lahi atu Lillyana ,
ReplyDeleteWow , you have made such a beautiful post. The third activity is one of my favourite activity's out of all! This reason is because we get to design our own hotel with rooms! Your room and I loved the way you described your hotel as well as your room.

Kia Ora Lillyana,
ReplyDeleteI’m Dani, a blog commenter for the Summer Learning Journey. I normally spend my time in the Kaikohekohe cluster but I have had the chance to check out some amazing posts in the Manaiakalani cluster! I look forwarding to reading and commenting on Manaiakalani learner’s blogs!
Yum, I can see why you posted two recipes! I don’t think I could pick between French Toast or Avocado sandwich either! You’ve done a great job writing out all of the ingredients and writing easy to follow instructions to make both of the dishes. Do you have any toppings on your french toast? I love having maple syrup and banana on my french toast. Do you make either of these very often at home?
Wow, you have done an amazing job drawing and describing your hotel? Let me know if you ever build it because I would love to come and stay! Have you thought about which country you would like to have your hotel in? It sounds like it you might want to build it on one of the islands in the Pacific Ocean. Bora Bora could be another potential place as well although I am not sure if they have palm trees. I think the best parts of your room is the snack cupboard and the french doors. I love the idea of being able to see an amazing view out of the french doors while I am still in bed. What’s your favourite part of your hotel?
I can’t wait to read more of your blog posts soon!
Blog ya later,
Dani
