Create Task - The Return of the Moa

Task Description : This week our Reading group ( Kina ) is learning on how to identify and use key information from a text to write a summary . By saying that once we had read the story ( The Return of the Moa ) we had to choose an animal that had been already extinct on page 5 / 6 . Once we had choose our animal we had to do an CREATE TASK which mine is right here and telling you guys why was it extinct and why would I bring it back to Life .

Task Description : For this task Inquiry Science we had to work with an buddy and my buddy was Maree and figure out the 32 parts of our body and figure what it does in our body meaning by partnering up them with another pair to create 16 pairs in total over the 36 we were given .

NED Show ( Highlights )

Today later In the afternoon the whole school attended the NED Show !!! NED stands for N = Never Give up , E = Encourage Others and D = Do your best it was performed by Ned and Nicole !
The Whole show was about NED's Mindset Mission and what I mean by saying that was he was stuck on an problem and didn't know what to do do he went on an mission to find out what it was and a long the way NED and Nicole teached us some things about Life .
My highlight of the whole show had to be when we came in and sat all down and when she was showing us tricks with the NED Yoyo's and Magic trick too !!

Explaining the Fragile Web of Life - Science Inquiry

Task Description : Today for Inquiry we had to create something to show our understandings of what the Fragile Web of life means to us , I have created an google drawings to explain my understandings of the Fragile Web of Life.

Zebrafish Science Summary

Task Description : Today we did science with learning about Zebrafish and had to write about what we learn and Me and Skye created an Google Drawings and this poster include an short summary about what we learnt about Zebrafish and some fun facts and websites that came from the Internet.

Genome Sequence Summary

When our bodies are fully asleep in our bodies do all sorts of things like healing themselves without us knowing not even a single bit ,but it doesn’t include magic and that's for sure .
DNA is part of us and it controls us as an Instruction Manual in our bodies the instructions that includes 6 billion Chemical letters which are A , G , T and C.
99% of our Sequences are mainly the same but only 1% is different which means if you have brown eyes and you want your baby to have blue eyes you are likely to only have a chance of 1% out of 100% .

Everyone in the world has glitches in our bodies and if you have a change in your body that means it will likely be weaker than the other arm unless you want to find the glitch and sort it out your gonna have to look inside your Genome Sequence . 

Now that were in the future it is easier to test and remove DNA or testing blood since there is higher technology .

Working out where your genome is from, can really help the doctors find out what your condition treatment is...

School Hours Persuasive Writing

Meaning of Colors = Purple for Hook & Green for Opinion & Yellow for Reason’s & Blue for Examples/Facts . 

Intro

Is school hours good that it's long or not ?

In my opinion school should start at 8:30am and finish at 3.00pm because its a reasonable time to end and finish school and you get a lot of Education done while your at school .

Helping/Understanding

For an Example Some Kids seem to struggle on understanding there learning online and if there stuck they really need help but doesn’t know what to do they seem to sit there and not do anything , that's why most kids prefer to go to school and get help from a teacher face to face that way they can help the kids fully understand rather than being stuck and not getting anywhere . 

Some online study sites that kids use some sites can’t really tell the kids on what they are actually looking for but on the other hand teachers help the kids when they need help instead of the kid searching for the missing information and killing time .

Learning / Education

The Time period for school is good because the long hours of the school day helps the kids learn more and has a good shot at there future .

If the time period has been cut to shorter hours for the school days the kids may not be learning as much as you think they are the longer the day the more they learn but the shorter the day the less they will be able to learn new things but not only that in school we have morning tea and lunchtime and that cost up to nearly 2 hours of the whole school day and less time of learning . 

Learning will never be a regret because as you grow up and wanting a career or a job you have the knowledge to get that job since you learnt a lot in school from the time period that you have for learning .

 Better Future 

For an Example , having no Education by your side and haven’t learnt anything about learning that's a BIG regret because once you want a job you haven't study about it . Education is one of your important needs why you ask because it helps you get the job you want and if they ask you did you learn anything about that pariteler job and you already learnt about because you took the time to study about it .

Learning plays a BIG part of your life as you really need it not only for jobs and careers but also for your own goods and if your children need help on there homework you can help them as because you studied when you were supposed to and have the knowledge to do it .

Conclusion

At the end of it Education plays a big part in your life as I said , you really need to succeed in life or not to succeed in life either way it's your choice to pick whether you want to succeed or not . But in my Opinion every kid and adult should learn more and will have a bright future ahead of them and still to come!

Task Description : This week our reading group for literacy class is learning on how to critically think about the author's perspective . By doing that we have been given an task with questions from the article " Pseudoscience " and telling you's on weather we agree or disagree with the statement given to us . 

Capital E Theater Performance! ( Highlights )

As we came into class there was a slight change to our normal Thursday morning because we had a Theater Performance awaiting for us to come , As we walked in the hall there were three people named Suipi , Hannah , Nina and the DJ and the Owner and they told us the name of the show which was " Capital E " .

My Favourtive part of the entire show has to be when we meant DJ Shoeshine and when he had Rapped his new song " Eat your Face " and it was pretty funny and cool , But at the same time I wondered to myself what does the Show name (Capital E) mean? but after all they had told us at the very end on what it really means which they struggle but they said it meant Education Entertainment something around about there .

It was an Great show to watch and see and it would be so awesome for them to visit us again !
